Types of Single Mattresses

  • Bonnell spring or innerspring - Both bonnell spring and innerspring mattresses have an interconnected coil system that provides generalised support for your sleeping posture. The difference between these 2 types of materials is the shape of the coil, where the former has an hourglass-shaped coil and the latter has a cylindrical-shaped one. While the transfer of motion is significant for both mattresses, it typically will not be a cause for concern unless you are sharing the bed with another person!
  • Individual pocketed spring - For individual pocketed spring mattresses, each spring is wrapped separately in a single fabric pocket.
